Sword positions (Kamae)

Seigan / Chudan The left hand it one fist from the body and just below the belly button; the kissaki is at throat height; The feet are in Seigan no ashi with the left foot forward.
Gedan As above except the kissaki is at the height of the upper kneecap
Jodan The left hand is placed one fist's width diagonally infront of the forehead, and the right hand is one fists's width above the crown. The sword is facing backwards at a 45 degree angle
Wakigame The feet are in hanmi, the sword is held to the side on one's body at hip height; the blade is horizontal and the kissaki cannot be seem from the front. The left hand is just below the belly button.
Hasso The left hand is at mouth height and about one fist's width from the mouth, the right hand gently supports the sword with the right elbow naturally brought up. The sword is at a 60 degree angle with the ha
