The left hand it one fist from the body and just below the belly button; the kissaki is at throat height; The feet are in Seigan no ashi with the left foot forward. |

The left hand is placed one fist's width diagonally infront of the forehead, and the right hand is one fists's width above the crown. The sword is facing backwards at a 45 degree angle |

The feet are in hanmi, the sword is held to the side on one's
body at hip height; the blade is horizontal and the kissaki cannot be seem
from the front. The left hand is just below the belly button. |
