Seiza no bu

1. Mae Forward/front. You sense the harmful intentions of an opponent (who is sitting in front of you), but before the they can strike, you cut them between the arm and face.
2. Migi Right. An opponent is sitting to your left and is facing the same direction as you. The meaning of the waza is the same as Mae.
3. Hidari Left. An opponent is sitting to your right and is facing the same direction as you. The meaning of the waza is the same as Mae.
4. Ushiro 後ろ Back/behind. An opponent is sitting behind you and is facing the same direction as you. The meaning of the waza is the same as Migi.
5. Yaegaki 8 multiple barriers. An opponent is in front of you. Your first cut is inadequate, so you move after your opponent as he is falling backwards and cut him down. However as this cut does not kill him, he tries to cut your shin while lying on the ground. You counterattack his cut and defeat him.
6. Ukenagashi Revieving and praying. Your opponent attacks from you left, but you parry, and cut down on his neck (neck or shoulder depending on the angle at which they fall).
7. Kaishaku Seconds. The person is seated about 1.2 - 1.3 metres in front of you and is facing left. You cut his neck when he commits seppuku (ritual suicide).
8. Tsukekomi An opponent attacks you from the front, but you avoice his cut by stepping back (intending to parry his cut). Because you first cut is inadequate, you move forward towards your opponent as they are falling backwards and cut him down.
9. Tsukikage Moonlight. An opponent is to your right. They are just about to attack you from the Jodan position, but you cut into both of his forearms; he falls backwards; you move after him and cut him down.
10. Oikaze Persuit.Your opponent is running away from you, you give chase and cut him down.
11. Nukiuchi Suddenly. The moment you sense the harmful intentions of you opponent sitting in front of you, you cut him down.
