| 1. Junto Sono Ichi |
|
While you are walking, your opponent is just about to attack
you from the front, but before he can strike, you cut him horizontally
across the chest. He is overpowered and falls backwards, at which point
you take a big step forward with your left foot and defeat him with a
deep, straight cut down. |
| 2. Junto Sono Ni |
|
While you are walking, your opponent is just about to attack
you from the front, but before he can strike, you cut him horizontally
across the chest. He is overpowered and falls backwards, at which point
you bring your left foot forwards to your right foot. Take a big step
forward with your right foot and defeat him with a deep, straight cut
down. |
| 3. Tsuigekito |
|
Pursue attack sword. While you are walking your opponent
is just about to attack you fromteh front, but before can strike you cut
him diagonally across his chest. He is overpowered and falls backwards, at
which point you cut his head. This causes him to fall backwards, you chase
him and defeat him with a deep straight cut down. |
| 4. Shato |
|
Diagonal sword. While you are walking, your opponent is
just about to attack you from the front whilst in
Jodan. Before he can strike, you
cut into his Kote. This overpowers him
and he falls backwards. You immediately cut him diagonally right and then
cut his do (area below the shoulder) diagonally left. |
| 5. Shihoto Sono Ichi |
|
Four swords 1. While you are walking you are surrounded
by opponents in four directions. First you move the
Tsuka gashira to your right
to keep your opponent in check. In this stance you thrust your sword into
your opponent that is diagonally behind you to your left. You immediately
cut down your opponent to your right. Next while taking a step
with your right foot, you cut down your opponent to your left, then whilst
taking aother step with your right foot, you cut down the opponent at the
front. |
| 6. Shihoto Sono Ni |
|
Four swords 2. The meaning is the same as
Shihoto Sono Ichi;
however the cuts are performed alternatively with the left foot forward,
then the right foot forward. |
| 7. Zantotsuto |
|
Cut thrust sword. While you are walking, your opponent
is just about to attack you from the front, but before he can strike,
youcut him diagonally across the chest. He is overpowered and falls
backwards, at which point you thrust your sword with both hands into his
chest (around the Suigetsu), then
proceed forward and cut him down. |
